Transport is crucial in supporting individuals with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). It provides them with the freedom to attend schools, seek employment, and explore their identities. However, transportation remains a significant barrier. Our goal is to promote inclusivity in transportation by collaborating with industry and stakeholders to bring about positive change.

The Yorkshire Send Youth Alliance launched a survey in June; we are interested in looking at how many BAME young people attend and use SEND Youth services within Yorkshire and the Humber. Once we have gathered the data, with your support, we can approach decision-makers in making SEND provisions accessible and a safe space for young neurodivergent individuals regardless of their background.
