Transport is crucial in supporting individuals with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). It provides them with the freedom to attend schools, seek employment, and explore their identities. However, transportation remains a significant barrier. Our goal is to promote inclusivity in transportation by collaborating with industry and stakeholders to bring about positive change.
What it looks like, how it affects people, and what we can do to make things better. Expect a relaxed, open session where your voice really counts.
We’ll also be having a look at a proposed Anti-Bullying Policy
We plan to work with the industry to create opportunities for people with SEND to find employment or start their own businesses. We plan to share information on this subject soon, with a blog coming from one of the young people in due time.
