The Yorkshire & Humber Send Youth Alliance is a group that advocates for young people who have SEND. This group consists of individuals who speak for their peers, educational settings, and youth groups. They aim to meet more often with other youth groups to share experiences and allow more young people to express their opinions.

Their goal is to create a unified voice that represents young people with additional needs and to influence progress towards improving the lives of young people with SEND.

Our goal is to collaborate with Youth Councils, Youth Groups, and Send Services to increase youth engagement and participation. Through a joint effort, we aim to improve the co-creation of services, assessments, and other relevant matters. We strongly believe that obtaining input from young people is crucial to positively impacting change. Young people are working on a regional level to influence key decision-makers to prioritize the youth's voice. This ensures that every young person is involved in the development of services and issues that directly affect them. These young members are volunteers.
